Inside Pakistan’s ‘Conversion Factory’ For Hindu Brides
Human rights groups in Pakistan are calling for new laws to protect underage Hindu girls from being forcibly converted to Islam and married off to Muslim men. It’s estimated that as many as 1,000 girls are coerced, tricked, or abducted each year. RFE/RL’s Radio Mashaal spoke to desperate families who have been torn apart and questioned the clerics behind the alleged forced conversions.
