Police in California are now investigating a leftist activist who proudly recorded herself viciously harassing an elderly employee at Target merely because she was wearing a Charlie Kirk “Freedom” shirt.
Enloe Health, the employer of activist nurse Michelea Ponce, is also probing the matter, announcing on Facebook it has been flooded with calls about the disturbing incident.
“The Chico Police Department is investigating a social media post on the personal account of an Enloe Health employee,” the company said.
“We are deeply concerned about the tenor of this post and the response it is creating from individuals of all political persuasions.”
“We ask for patience and calm as we conduct our own internal investigation of this matter. In the meantime, we are relying on the expertise of the Chico Police Department to investigate any potential criminal activity or threats related to it.”
“Currently, extremely high call volumes related to this post are overwhelming Enloe’s switchboard and clinic phone lines, negatively impacting our patients’ ability to reach clinical staff.”
The company added: “If you wish to share a comment with Enloe Health related to this employee’s social media post, please email us at [email protected] or call 530-332-9818 and leave a message. Thank you for helping us ensure patients who need medical treatment can reach a caregiver.”
As WorldNetDaily reported Tuesday, Ponce posted video of herself berating the Target worker for wearing a Charlie Kirk “Freedom” shirt on the job.

“Why are you taking my picture?” the older woman asks in the video, as she hangs clothing on a rack.
The activist responds with her own question: “Why are you wearing that shirt? You’re working.”
“It’s a red shirt, I can wear any red shirt,” the employee replies.
“It’s a Charlie Kirk shirt,” says the activist.
“Oh yes, I know,” the worker states.
“Are you f***ing stupid? Why the f*** would you wear that? You’re at work at Target. It’s not a Target shirt … You support a racist.”
“He’s not a racist,” the woman maintains in a calm manner. “Have a nice day.”
Ponce concludes by threatening: “This is gonna be taken above your [bleeping] head. That’s insane. … Piece of s***.”
Another video posted by Ponce shows her perplexed over the fact her mother wishes to buy her teenage nephew “a damn Bible” for Christmas.
“The hell she is!” Ponce exclaims. “He’s a teenage boy living in a military house with two lesbians. You think he wants a damn Bible?”
