An ideological agenda driven by the false claims evident in the transgender movement – which defies science as being male or female is embedded in humans down to the DNA level – is abruptly erasing “mother” and “woman” and other terms from one state’s health code.
A report at the Daily Wire said it’s Gov. Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania who is attempt “to erase women and mothers.”
“The Democrat’s administration has removed female terminology and replaced it with transgender-inclusive language in a proposed overhaul to Pennsylvania’s health code. The terms ‘pregnant woman’ and ‘mother of a newborn’ have been replaced with ‘pregnant or postpartum individual’ throughout the 502-page proposal, which was announced on August 8. Women who have given birth to a stillborn baby are no longer called a ‘mother’ but are instead referred to as a ‘postpartum individual’ in the proposed regulation changes,” the report explains.

Michele Brookes, a state lawmaker, explained to the publication, “Somehow, in the midst of hundreds of pages of new government mandates, the department also found it necessary to erase words like ‘pregnant woman’ and ‘mother’ in the regulations and replace them with terms like ‘pregnant individual.’”
The transgender agenda promotes the beliefs that men can give birth and that “inclusive language” should be used for obstetricians and gynecologists delivering healthcare for women.
The American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists even has informed physicians that they should have offices that are “inclusive and inviting to all individuals who need obstetric or gynecologic health care.”
That would include women who say they are men, apparently.
Randall Wenger of the Independence Law Center explained the report the move replaces biology with ideology.
“This change of language doesn’t reflect reality; it obscures it. It erases female identity as a stable category in favor of a fluid concept of gender. The Shapiro administration is so concerned with affirming transgender identity that it can no longer recognize the realities of biological sex. The department cannot pretend to fight dangerous diseases with its delusions about gender.”
The report also warned Shapiro is trying to create the authority for the state Department of Health to have massive police powers under the claim of “disease control measures.”
“These expanded powers include the ability to enter homes and schools without a warrant, access confidential medical records, and impose statewide school mask mandates for disease prevention. The Department of Health reports to the governor’s office, meaning this change would give Shapiro — and his successors — the ability to single-handedly implement draconian policies across the state,” the report said.
A report at the Gateway Pundit noted, “You simply cannot make this up. Under the proposed changes: ‘Pregnant woman’ becomes ‘pregnant individual.’ ‘Mother of a newborn’ becomes ‘postpartum individual.’ ‘Mother of stillborn’ is replaced with ‘case of stillbirth,’ while references to the mother are changed to ‘postpartum individual.’ A ‘mother’s medical record’ becomes a ‘postpartum individual’s medical record.’ ‘Language referring to medical professionals attending women during childbirth is rewritten to say they attend ‘individuals.’”
The report said, “This is not merely an effort to simplify outdated legal language. The proposal deliberately removes sex-specific terms from regulations dealing exclusively with pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care, biological realities unique to women.”
