Trump has blasted the FBI ahead of a scheduled speech to recent FBI graduates at the organizations police training center.
President Donald Trump is firing back at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), which is currently conducting an investigation into alleged Russian interference of the U.S. Presidential election. Some believe that the Russian government worked with the Trump campaign to secure the Oval Office.

Now, President Trump is calling the integrity of the FBI into question. Recently released email text messages raise the possibility that the FBI is conducting an unfair and partial investigation. At least one FBI agent on the Mueller team appears to have an anti-Trump bias.

The emails were between Peter Strzok, an FBI agent formerly on Muellers’ team, and Lisa Page, an FBI lawyer. The two were romantically involved.
“It’s clear he’s capturing all the white, poor voters who the mainstream Republicans abandoned in all but name in the quest for the almighty $$$$.” – Strzok
To his credit, Robert Mueller quickly removed Strzok from his investigation team upon learning about the messages. Page does not appear to have been directly involved with the investigation into Russia’s alleged meddling. Still, some are beginning to question whether Trump will be given a fair investigation.

Besides blasting President Trump, many of the messages also heaped praise upon his rival Hillary Clinton. Interestingly, Strzok was also a member of the team that conducted an investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server. Some Republicans are now questioning if his bias may have played a role in that investigation as well.
President Trump Fires Back at FBI
Unsurprisingly, President Trump and his allies are livid. Trump called the messages “disgraceful”. The President went as far as to label the investigation a “Democratic hoax” and claims that there was absolutely no collusion between him and Russia. According to Trump, the investigation is merely an excuse for losing the election.
After years of Comey, with the phony and dishonest Clinton investigation (and more), running the FBI, its reputation is in Tatters – worst in History! But fear not, we will bring it back to greatness.

Presidents have often gone out of their way to heap praise upon the FBI. While tensions between some local police departments and communities have deteriorated in recent years, the FBI still maintains generally high levels of trust and respect. Trump and his allies believe that the on-going investigation into Russia is damaging the FBI’s credibility.
President Trump, on the other hand, is promising to remake the FBI. Trump believes that the FBI’s reputation is already in tatters. However, Mueller moved quickly to dismiss the compromised agent. Before the investigation began, Mueller was widely respected among both Democrats and Republicans for his integrity.
The heightened tensions regarding the Mueller investigation come after Michael Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI. Flynn is now believed to be cooperating with the Mueller investigation. In regards to a pardon, Trump has been deflective but has refused to rule out the possibility as well.
