So how is the score going for President Trump? It seems he is doing pretty well and when he does well so does the country. Let’s tally up the win/loss columns.
The Dems said that Trump’s policies would destroy the economy. But his policies have given us the best economy in decades. Chalk that up: Dems 0, Trump 1. Then, of course, there was no way he would get a massive tax cut through the legislature. Oops, Dems lost on that one too. Ok, how about the battle on the travel ban? Nope, Supreme Court says the president was right. The Democrats, lots of ’em, sued the president over that one and they all lost.
The president nominates two Supreme Court Justices, and no matter what the other side tried, he got them both. Two more wins on the Trump side. Moving on, there was the Stormy Daniels scandal that was thrown at the president. Stormy Daniels, championed by the now indicted and facing close to 100 years in prison sleazebag lawyer Michael Avenatti, gives another win for the president. So much that Ms. Daniels has to pay his legal bills.
He gets some funding for the border wall against all the efforts of the Democrats. Not a big win but still over a billion dollars worth. He then declares a national emergency (just like he said he would) and the Dems couldn’t stop it—another win for the president. Add in the veto and the Democrat’s failure to overturn it, and he gets two wins on the same issue.
Then we come to the biggest one of all: the two-year long “investigation” pushed by the extremely partisan side of the Democratic Party and what does that bring? A fired FBI Director that is exposed as a self-important hack. Openly corrupt FBI and DOJ officials all running for cover or fired. Intelligence officials like John Brennan are now crawfishing to distance themselves from their own statements and prophesy of impeachment.
The Democrats are in such disarray they are now in a circular firing squad pointing fingers at each other. It has become so bad they won’t even vote for their own bills. It is fun to watch. The exposing of so much underhandedness and out-and-out lying from the left is proving to show their lack of care about the country or governing. When it is all said and done the Mueller investigation did end up in indictments but none that tied anything to President Trump. No Russian collusion, no conspiracy, and no obstruction of justice. Win, win, win.
The liberal Press lost. Hollywood lost. The Democrats lost all credibility. They need to relish their gain in the last election because after this Democrat-orchestrated debacle, that may be the last thing they can point to as a win.
Now with egg on their pompous faces, the Dems are left to lick their wounds and scurry back to the shadows to plot the next assault on our country and the president. As I see it, the columns are completely one-sided. Dems one, maybe two. Trump? Well, he ran the table, so to speak.
I will predict another win for President Trump as well; it’s called the election in 2020.
