From the Team Recon Realty website:

After meeting in Baghdad and returning home, cofounders Andy and Ashley Williams turned to real estate as a way to transition. This former marine and soldier, respectively, shared a passion for making old homes new again as a way to continue to serve. Team Recon is the natural outgrowth of this path, as they noticed other veterans struggling to transition. Launched in 2015, Team Recon is a husband-wife, veteran-led team focused on residential redevelopment, and remains rooted in the communities in which they invest. They are primarily focused on social impact through the process of redeveloping distressed communities.

Team Recon redeploys with select veterans into neighborhoods with a surplus of dilapidated homes in communities primed for revitalization, empowering each veteran with a clearly defined mission—to positively impact our country, economy, and community. They continue to serve as a catalyst to connect veterans to the real estate industry and support veteran-owned businesses. Ultimately, they seek to empower veterans with unprecedented exposure to the industry and advanced training for full reintegration into society. Make sure to check out how HGTV’s Flip or Flop Fort Worth has enabled them to expose their mission for empowering veterans in the real estate industry.
