Not content with being reduced to cretin status by Ben Carson a day earlier, another Dem took on the HUD secretary and got her hijab handed to her. That’s right, it’s our old pal Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN).
She claimed he was not verbally alert at a congressional hearing she was attending. This was after his performance as a witness didn’t conform to her exacting standards. Perhaps, given her other expressed standards, she would have preferred to have his lips cut off by a scimitar-wielding madman.
Mind you, only as a cautionary measure.
Big Ben hit her back with recalling the grueling hours he spent as a surgeon “operating on babies in the womb.” People, he said, “she doesn’t recognize as having a right to life.”
Mic drop.
Although we can hardly blame Omar for her opinion. Regimes she channels rarely had much sympathy for those they considered inadequate. Their idea of compassion was a nice walk before the gas chamber. Though strangely, in other regimes she has a crush on, women aren’t exactly afforded the opportunity to take an active part in government. Usually, they’re too busy being gang-raped or honor-murdered.
However, lucky for her and unlucky for us, Rep. Omar lives here now and she can use the practices of a republic to try and destroy it from within. Because of her status in a free country she can uphold and defend the interests of an ideology that would turn this nation into a worse repressive theocracy than any bible-thumping hell and brimstone- yodeling preacher would ever dare conceive of or desire. But that preacher also likely has an abiding love of America. Something Rep. Omar demonstrably lives without.
That’s why it’s good in a sense to have her and her pals around. It reminds us what could happen if they and their party ever regain the White House or have full control of Congress.
Additionally, it recalls the logical irony of her ideological position. For if the desiccated imams in Tehran did get control of America, she and her bilious coven would be the first to go.
