With California Gov. Gavin Newsom continuing to claim he suffers from dyslexia, a reporter asking for proof of his diagnosis has been told to “f*** off” by the Democrat’s communications director.
The question came from Susan Crabtree of Real Clear Politics, who lives in California and asked for any paperwork confirming his dyslexia, a learning disability involving difficulties in acquiring and processing language that is typically manifested by a lack of proficiency in reading, spelling, and writing.
“Newsom has also said he was diagnosed with dyslexia in 1972 – that would be when he was five or six. Is there anything the governor can point to as proof of this?” Crabtree asked.

“If the early paperwork is not available, is there any evidence of a more recent dyslexia diagnosis he can provide?”
Izzy Gardon, Newsom’s government-paid director of communications, responded without any redaction: “Hey Susan, thanks for reaching out. Respectfully, f*** off.”

Broadcaster Megyn Kelly opined: “My God it’s even worse than we thought.”
California attorney Laura Powell noted: “According to his story, he was diagnosed at age five but did not learn of it until years later, when he discovered documents among his mother’s belongings that included the word ‘dyslexia.’
“However, it would have been unusual for a 5 year old to receive a formal dyslexia diagnosis in 1972. While some researchers used the term at that time, systematic screening programs didn’t exist and early childhood diagnosis was uncommon. Children with reading difficulties were not identified until deficits became apparent in later grades, and then, they were typically described as having a reading delay rather than labeled ‘dyslexic.’
“Newsom has said that he rediscovered these childhood records in recent years, after his parents died. Given that he uses this diagnosis for political purposes, I think it’s reasonable to ask for corroboration.”
Ophthalmologist Dr. Houman David Hemmati said he was “disgusted” by Gardon’s response.
“This is using a taxpayer funded .gov state email address, no less,” he said. “At least they are showing their true colors. It seems to be the new @TheDemocrats
approved language … In addition to being highly unprofessional and inappropriate, rising to the level of being a fire-worthy offense, this type of language to JOURNALISTS (add Sean Hannity to this list) illustrates how Gavin Newsom feels about anyone who doesn’t agree with him.
“Imagine how this guy would lead as president! He talks about kings and authoritarianism, but he’s actually describing himself. Our system is one in which we may disagree strongly, but where we keep our tone and language civil.”
As WorldNetDaily reported Monday, Newsom told an audience he cannot even “read” a speech because of his condition.
“I’m not trying to impress you. I’m just trying to impress upon you I’m LIKE YOU,” he told a black moderator.

“I’m no better than you. You know. I’m a 960 SAT guy. You know. And I’m not trying to offend anyone. You know, trying to act all there if you got 940. But literally a 960 SAT guy. I cannot. You’ve never seen me read a speech because I cannot read a speech.”
