‘Ride a rage wave into power’: Hakeem Jeffries alludes to doing violence to Supreme Court * WorldNetDaily * by Bob Unruh

U.S. Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y.

Democrats in Washington want to do what they want to do, when they want to do it, how they want to do it, and to the victims they choose.

And that’s why they have launched an agenda to destroy the nature of the U.S. Supreme Court by deliberately staging it with a far-left majority, even throwing out the sitting members.

“It is simply about power,” explains Jonathan Turley, a law professor and the author of the best-selling “Rage and the Republic: The Unfinished Story of the American Revolution.” He’s been involved in some of the most significant legal cases in recent American history and his advice at times has guided the actions of Congress.

He cited the statement of ex-Attorney General Eric Holder, who pushed the Barack Obama agenda in his government position: “[We’re] talking about the acquisition and the use of power if there is a Democratic trifecta in 2028.”

Turley’s comments followed the latest push by Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, the Democratic minority leader in the House, to claim that literally everything is on the table regarding the court should the elections deliver to his party the power he wants.

He’s the one who even posted a picture of himself holding a baseball bat, in an implied threat to President Donald Trump’s work.

“Jeffries has struggled to pander to the mob to secure power in the midterm elections, including brandishing a baseball bat on social media to show his radical bona fides. With Democratic Socialists chanting ‘you’re next’ when seeing Jeffries, he continues to struggle to stay in front of the mob. This week, he doubled down on his pledge to throw the Supreme Court to the mob if they make him the next Speaker of the House of Representatives,” Turley explained.

“There’s a variety of different options that are on the table, and I think that we can’t foreclose any single one of them,” Jeffries charged.

He claimed, without evidence, that the current court, which has ruled both in favor of and against Trump’s agenda on major issues, is a “conservative, right-wing majority” and “has become basically a subsidiary of the MAGA Republican Party.”

Cited were plans to add leftists to the court to give it an allegiance to Democrats, even term limits to remove sitting justices.

“Notably, none of these figures were claiming that the Court was fundamentally flawed until it ruled against them, particularly in cases that impacted their political power such as declaring racial gerrymandering to be unconstitutional,” Turley explained.

And he noted the liberal justices on the court now “reject this narrative, reminding citizens that the court has delivered major losses to the Trump administration.”

“Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.) has called for packing the Court because it does not follow her views and those of ‘widely held public opinion.’ I have pushed back on that rationale, given the Court’s function as a countermajoritarian institution,” Turley said.

And he noted polling doesn’t support the Democrats on the issue.

And he noted the Democrats’ opposition to what voters actually want.

“Although most Americans oppose court packing, Democrats view control of the Court as essential to pushing through a radical agenda to change the political system to their advantage,” he said.

He said America now is seeking “factional politics” by those “who believe that they can ride a rage wave into power.”
