President Donald Trump appears to have a love-hate relationship with Fox News.
It’s the channel he watches most often, but the commander in chief is also unafraid to launch harsh criticism at the network when he thinks its personalities are not airing issues the way he’d prefer.
On Monday, Trump posted a fresh verbal attack against the broadcast giant, saying on Truth Social: “Fox spends more time defending Dumocrats, and putting on their views versus their Republican opponent, than at any time in the History of FoxNews.”
“It’s ridiculous!” he exclaimed. “FoxNews is trying too hard to be Politically Correct!”
Trump did not specify which news segment sparked his comment.
The president then put in a plug for the Right Side Broadcasting Network, noting: “Watch my big Kansas Rally today on RSBN. Great early coverage!”
While many Americans believe Fox News to be more accurate and conservative than other major broadcast networks, Trump has a long history of slamming the channel itself as well as individual anchors and reporters.
For instance, as WorldNetDaily reported in August, the president went scorched earth on Shannon Bream, calling the anchor’s “Fox News Sunday” broadcast “beyond redemption.”
In a lengthy post on Truth Social, Trump said: “Watching FoxNews with Shannon Bream is always like watching the Worst of Fake News CNN.”
“I don’t know Shannon, but she always seems to pick guests, charts, and ‘polls’ that are negative, never talking about all of the incredible things that the Trump Administration has done, like Total Border Control, the Most Successful Stock Market in History (81 Record Days in a year and a half!), Biggest Investment in our Country in History (19.2 Trillion Dollars!), breaking the Record by many times over, the Great Military Victories over Venezuela and the essential Denuclearization of Iran – The rest to follow! – The Lowest Crime Rate in Recorded History, the Lowest Murder Rate since 1900 – 125 years! – The Highest Number of People that have Jobs in the United States, EVER, the fact that the United States is more RESPECTED throughout the World than at any time in Memory, the Biggest Drop in Drug Prices, over 500%, than has ever been seen before, which will lead to tremendous SAVINGS in Healthcare, the Rebuilding of our Military, in my First Term, making it the Strongest in U.S. History, with the inclusion of Space Force, and so many other things!
“Yet, week after week, I see Shannon ‘interviewing’ hostile guests, and having losers like Juan Williams, who got fired like a dog from PBS, was thrown off of The Five for somebody even dumber than him, Jessica Tarlov, and when he saw me walking into the Headquarters of Fox, he went CRAZY, begging me for a picture – ‘Could I have a picture with you? It would be such a Great Honor!’
“In any event, Shannon’s ‘show’ is beyond redemption. Fortunately, MAGA, which is close to 100% of the Republican Party, understands that, and watch her ‘Ratings’ start to fall. Chris Wallace was bad, but Shannon is even worse!”
In May, as WorldNetDaily reported, Trump went for the jugular of Jacqui Heinrich, directly attacking the Fox News reporter and her fiancé, U.S. Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, R-Pa.
While speaking to journalists at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland, Trump ignored a question posed by Heinrich about Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, telling other media present: “Her husband votes against me all the time. I don’t know what’s with him.
“You better ask him what’s with him. She’s married to a certain congressman.
“He likes voting against Trump. You know what happens with that? Doesn’t work out well. I don’t know why he does.”

In September 2025, as WorldNetDaily reported, the president blasted both Peter Doocy and the network for refusing to push back against Democrat U.S. Sen. Mark Kelly’s claims about health care and the shutdown of the federal government.
“Why is FoxNews and Peter Doocy putting on Democrat Senator Mark Kelly to talk about, totally unabated or challenged, Healthcare?” Trump began.
“The FAKE SPIN is so bad for Republicans that it is hard to believe that we WIN. It will be very unfair, in the future, when they don’t have ‘TRUMP’ to fight for them. Therefore, we should fix it, NOW!”
“I’m watching this Interview. It just doesn’t end. Fox should either get on board, or get off board, NOW, but at this point, it just doesn’t make any difference to me. They suck up the Ratings because of us, and then spin them in the Democrats’ direction.
“They refuse to put up Polls that correctly show me at 65% in Popularity, a Republican RECORD, but if I have a fake bad ‘Poll,’ many of which are done by Fox (One of the worst ‘Pollsters’ out there is the FoxNews Poll), they put them up immediately, and with gusto.
“Republicans are so tired of this fight with Fox always trying to be so ‘politically correct!’ Thank you for your attention to this matter.”
