Russian officials refuted claims this week that the Kremlin was interfering with U.S. presidential elections.  They went on to state that the United States was blaming Russia in order to fuel more frustration with their former Soviet foe, adding to the increasing tension between the two world powers, which exists due to activity in the Middle East and Crimea.

The truth of the matter is, all major global powers conduct operations to manipulate key political elections to the best of their ability, and regardless of whether the Wikileaks hacks are related to Russia or not, one can be sure they are making an effort to tilt the scale in their favor.
