Russian forces have advanced amid heavy fighting in Ukraine’s eastern Donbas region as they attempt to capture the twin cities of Syevyerodonetsk and Lysychansk. The battle has “reached maximum intensity,” according to Ukrainian Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Malyar.
