Stunner! Report charges FBI treated Trump as ‘national security threat’ for almost a decade * WorldNetDaily * by Bob Unruh

That the Deep State in Washington was weaponized against President Donald Trump by now has been documented over and over: From the FBI raid on his Mar-a-Lago home when the reasons were political to the repeated, and unsubstantiated, claims he orchestrated an “insurrection” against the government, to the lies that went as high as the Oval Office when Barack Obama was there that his campaign conspired with Russia.

Now an investigation by Just the News reveals FBI operations called “Crossfire Hurricane,” “Round River,” “Plasmic Echo” and “Arctic Frost” lasted from 2016 to 2025, and “may have been predicated on false, misleading or uncorroborated justifications,” and “essentially treated the man twice elected president as a national security threat for most of the first nine years of his political career.”

A side effect, the report said, was that those “investigations” “secretly subjected hundreds of innocent Americans to privacy-invading tactics.”

FBI chief Kash Patel has been leading the effort to review the various investigations, and the report noted the difficulties encountered as many of the investigative files were hidden from, view even from most FBI agents, because they were marked “prohibited access.”

The goal apparently was to bring criminal cases against Trump, and the results included wild claims in Georgia that he was involved in organized crime, equally far-fetched claims in New York about business fraud when no one lost any money, and special prosecutor Jack Smith’s two cases involving fantastical claims about election interference and keeping government records. All of the cases eventually failed.

But Just the News said sources chronicled how the FBI’s plans to counter terrorism after the Sept. 22, 2001, Islamic terror attacks on the U.S. were “hijacked by politics” and used against “everyday Americans.”

That continued up until the January 2025 inauguration of Trump for his second term, the report said.

The targets included members of Congress, their staff members, future White House chief of staff Susie Wiles, journalists, defense lawyers and even Patel, the report said.

“Even a political consultant turned documentary filmmaker who investigated Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings before joining Trump’s 2024 campaign was recently notified he was targeted in a criminal investigation that only recently was shut down, according to letters between Congress and the FBI reviewed by Just the News,” the report said.

At least 1,200 people described as “special circumstances targets” were investigated mostly during Joe Biden’s administration, when Chrisopher Wray headed the FBI and worked with Democrats on the schemes, a recent audit confirmed.

“There is growing evidence that may support a case that the FBI engaged between 2016 and 2025 in a conspiracy to violate the civil rights of Trump and his supporters under the color of government power,” an official with knowledge of the current FBI work told Just the News.

“The Department of Justice is at the heart of considering these issues right now, so I can’t really talk about the specifics, but in general terms, yes, the Civil Rights Division and the DOJ generally does have the tool of a criminal conspiracy statute for conspiracy against rights,” Harmeet Dhillon, assistant attorney general, has confirmed. “And this dates back to the start of the Ku Klux Klan.”

She said, “I would say all of those things are on the table for lawyers and DOJ officials and others who conspired with them at the state level, state prosecutors, state police and so forth, who conspired to violate civil rights, and it could also include executive branch officials from the first administration who knowingly conspired and orchestrated a violation of federal civil rights.”

The investigative report confirmed there are ongoing reviews of “the weaponization of intelligence and law enforcement against Trump and his allies.”

Already known is that the Obama administration misled Congress and others “when claiming that the discredited anti-Trump Steele Dossier was not used” in formal government intel assessments.

The Democrats’ agenda against Trump created some troubling scenarios, the report said. For example, when the FBI raided Mar-a-Lago, claiming Trump took classified documents some agents said the circumstances didn’t meet the legal standard for a search warrant. Yet the raid went ahead anyway.

The report said records confirm that the White House of Joe Biden also was directly linked to the “investigations” of Trump.

For instance, Biden’s attorney general “personally” approved the Mar-a-Lago raid, and FBI searches for the phone records of Wiles included a wiretapped phone call with her lawyer. The FBI claimed it had the lawyer’s approval but he has denied any such arrangement.

Initial decisions on pursuing indictments in the “criminal probe” could be coming as soon as in a few weeks, Just the News said.

One of the most trouble factors is that the FBI may have investigated “reporters, lawmakers, moviemakers and lawyers” simply because they made statements about the Biden family dynasty’s dealings in Ukraine.
