John Brennan, who was Barack Obama’s chief of the Central Intelligence Agency and a key player in the fabricated “Russiagate” conspiracy theory scheme conducted by Democrats against President Donald Trump, now apparently is facing possible indictment for his behavior at that time.
And he’s demanding special accommodations from the federal court system in that case.
Brennan has had his defense lawyers write a 17-page letter to the chief judge in the federal court system in Miami giving instructions on what should happen in his case.
Including that he doesn’t want his case assigned to Judge Aileen Cannon, a respected jurist in the system in Florida who earlier threw out one of the Democrats’ lawfare cases against Trump as the special prosecutor was appointed improperly.
Just the News obtained a copy of the lawyers’ demands to Chief Judge Cecilia M. Altonaga and posted it online.
The document appears to confirm that Brennan is, in fact, a “target” of a criminal investigation.
His lawyers accuse federal prosecutors of “judge shopping,” a routine procedure used by Democrats against Trump over and over.
Lawyers Ken Wainstein and Natasha Harnwell Davis delivered their demands to Altonaga.
They confirmed that they were told by U.S. Attorney Jason Reding Quinones the grand jury is investigating Brennan for his participation in the 2016-27 Russia collusion investigation, an effort that now has been completely discredited.
Those scheme participants claimed that Russian president Vladimir Putin tried to help Trump win the 2016 election. Actually, evidence now shows failed Democrat candidate Hillary Clinton sparked the Russia theory in order to distract voters from her own misbehavior in putting government secrets on a private email server in her home.
The report said, “Brennan personally pressed to have a discredited document known as the Steele dossier included in the assessment contrary to his testimony to Congress.”
That “assessment” was a document supporting the Democrats’ lawfare which lacked evidence for its conclusions.
“We have been formally advised by prosecutors of the Office of the United States Attorney for the Southern District of Florida that Director Brennan is a target of grand jury investigation NS 1840-020 in the Miami Division (24-06), which is examining the circumstances surrounding the production of the 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment about Russian efforts to interfere in the 2016 presidential election in the United States,” Brennan’s lawyers complained.
They claimed, the report said, prosecutors’ goal “is to rig the judicial system so that U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon, who dismissed an indictment against Trump brought by ex-Special Counsel Jack Smith, lands the Brennan case.”

GUYS, IT’S HAPPENING!
Former CIA Director John Brennan is being prosecuted in Florida and the best bit HE IS REALLY NOT HAPPY
Brennan is falsely accusing the prosecution of leaking–when it’s him who leaks, and of judge shopping–exactly what Mueller and co did.

Breaking: John Brennan’s lawyers confirm he is ‘target’ of Florida grand jury probe, ask judge to stop it https://t.co/TiJ2xxbCGH

John Brennan & his lawyers are panicking about the grand jury investigation in Florida, as they sense an indictment is imminent.
They wrote a letter to the Chief Judge in Miami begging that she stop it – and specifically asked that the case doesn’t end up in Judge Aileen… https://t.co/DsdDYBw3ig pic.twitter.com/IXJ0dZVxgJ

The lawyers charged there is “irregular activity” taking place and the investigation is “affecting our client’s rights to fair and impartial treatment by the criminal justice system.”
The report said, “The letter is an extraordinary injection by Brennan’s defense team and likely signals his lawyers fear an indictment is imminent. And it comes as Democrats, after years of being accused by Republicans of weaponizing the justice and intelligence systems to pursue Trump, now try to turn the tables and argue they are now the victims of such weaponization.”
Democrats under both Obama and Joe Biden orchestrated a long list of lawfare cases, both civil and criminal, against Trump, which have since died.
The letter from Brennan’s lawyers now claims he’s being targeted unfairly. They insists the DOJ perhaps no longer should “enjoy the traditional presumption of regularity” based on their perceptions that Trump has instructed government lawyers to pursue his political foes, a move that if it develops would be similar to what Obama and Biden did against Trump.
The lawyers, who also insisted there is a five-year statute of limitations for charges on what Brennan did, continue to insist that the Intelligence Community Assessment claiming Russia was interfering in the 2016 election, a document into which Brennan insisted on inserting the flagrantly false “Steele Dossier” funded by Democrat activists against Trump, was in fact accurate.
The Democrats’ lawfare even included a law enforcement SWAT raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home, a search that later evidence showed was completely unsupported.
Brennan, in factd, has been named in two criminal referrals, from the CIA itself, and from Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard.
His defense lawyers insist that the chief judge steer whatever case develops against Brennan the direction they have chosen.
