The Aftermath of Hurricane Florence

By: - September 18, 2018

The impact from Hurricane Florence is long from over. As the wind and rain settles down, there is now all the devastating damage the survivors must rebuild.

Cities throughout the Carolinas have received up to 35 inches of rain from Florence with several neighborhoods experiencing severe flooding. There have been over 2,000 swift water rescues made for families trapped from the flooding.

There have been 32 reported deaths related to the storm. This includes a 3-month-old and an 81-year-old man.

About 511,000 homes are left without electricity with a majority being in North Carolina.

Residents who were effected by the storm still have a long way to go before things can really be back to normal.

    • In 6 months, we'll know if we still have a country
In less than six months, the country will be faced with another presidential election. In normal times, we would have a proper degree of concern. We wouldn't be thinking we were facing a near existential threat. In other words, we wouldn't be so anxious, full of dread and scared to death about the routine changing… […]
    • Bidens, Obamas and spoiled rich kids against Jews and Israel
Anyone who questions the depth and reality of evil in the world today need only look at the Arab terrorist groups and Biden/Obama. Biden's so-called "ironclad" support for Israel faded faster than a $35 tie wrinkles and now stands on the brink of full collapse under the weight of his lies claiming support. Only those… […]
    • Vote dilution: A different kind of election tampering
"One person, one vote" is a core constitutional principle and citizen's right. While it is not specifically enumerated in the Constitution, it's logic is implicit in Article I, Section 2 (which governs legislative redistricting), the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment and the cornerstone precept of our Declaration of Independence: "government by the consent… […]
    • Biden defies other 2 branches: So who's the dictator?
Despite an unambiguous Supreme Court ruling informing President Biden that his signature student loan forgiveness program is unconstitutional, he's managed to squeeze himself through highly questionable loopholes, circumvent Congress and as recently as last week do it by executive fiat. Again. We're talking $153 billion so far. Claiming that "MAGA Republicans and special interests" drove… […]
    • Will Adam Schiff's ongoing corruption finally be prosecuted?
It is no secret that far-left California Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff uses sleazy tactics to go after his political opponents. While most members of Congress usually skate on ethics charges or receive light penalties, once in a great while their behavior is so overtly criminal that they end up prosecuted. Although Democrats are far more… […]
    • Biden's empty promise of a return to normal
In 2020, a lot of people went for Joe Biden because they wanted a return to normal life. A vote for the Democrat, it was said, would be a way to "turn down the heat" and calm a nation riven by the deadly BLM/Antifa riots, the COVID-19 pandemic and the media/Deep State's nonstop circus against… […]
    • Biden explodes claim abortions are needed for women's 'mental health'
One of the arguments the abortion industry in America has used for years to support its demand for unlimited abortion is that it's needed for a woman's "mental health." The Biden administration just exploded that claim. "And when a woman comes in with some grave mental health emergency, if she happens to be pregnant, it… […]
