In watching our socialist pals the Dems cavort on the national stage regarding their Collusion Catastrophe and other issues of note, I’ve noticed a striking similarity with Bolshie groups of yore. Though their colors tended to be red, not blue. Making allowances for our Dem friends to understand the basic concept, as no doubt their Bobo parents bribed them into college, we’ll change the color bar just thus once.
Specifically, I don’t know how you can listen to one of the three Dem cackling harpies and not conjure up images of the Chinese Cultural Revolution and/or the Khmer Rouge of Cambodia. In our case, the Khmer Blue.
What the Dems have done, like in those experiments gone mightily awry, is give political machine guns to the dumber kids in your typical junior high school class. Though Omar, AOC, and Tlaib don’t have the real ones yet, you can rest assured they would dearly love fully automatic weapons to aid in the process of, as AOC so charmingly puts it, “making a list.”
The acceptance of the innate superiority of youth, ideological extremism, and screeching denunciation of all who dared oppose them marked the Red Guard and the cretinous thug teenagers who led multitudes out of Phnom Penh and into less than gentle green fields. The young feral Cambodian ideologues paid special attention to any person wearing glasses, as they were thought “smart” and thus targets for a special kind of reeducation to alienate them from objective reality. So, a renunciation of fact-based thinking did not start with AOC. She just helps it along.
What do we see from the modern Dem Red Guard? The same three attributes and a willing coterie of feral airhead supporters who hang on their every misconceived word. If he doesn’t watch out, Steny Hoyer will soon be hogtied and frogmarched down North Capitol Street, wearing a dunce cap inscribed with his crime of “left right deviationism and ill-judged reactionary associations,” by Neiman Marxists checking their iPhones for the latest quotations of Dear Leader/recently mediocre bartender.
But that’s okay for Steny. He’ll be rehabilitated and released from the work farm once the Gang of Three meets their eventual comeuppance at the hands of natural selection, political variant.
Of course, it would just be easier for House Majority Leader Hoyer to call them out now for the intellectual road kill that they are, fund primary challengers, and rid his party of them before they become entrenched and destroy him. However, that would require the defeat of the cult of the political toddler currently ascendant in the Democratic Party.
Not an action that looks anywhere near contemplation, much less fruition.
