On Sept. 11, 2001, Capt. John Ogonowski was the pilot of the first plane hijacked by Islamic terrorists that struck the World Trade Center in New York City.
Now, his brother Jim is pleading with citizens of Michigan in a brand-new ad not to elect Democrat Abdul El-Sayed as U.S. senator in November.
“My brother John was the captain of American Airlines Flight 11, the first plane to hit the towers on Sept. 11,” Jim Ogonowski says at the start of the ad, which shows the Boeing 767 slamming into the North Tower of the Twin Towers.
“I lost my best friend that day, and I watched John’s three young girls lose their father.
“Abdul El-Sayed campaigned with a man [Hasan Piker] who said America deserved 9/11.
“That is totally disqualifying. I am asking Michigan voters to protect our nation. Reject Abdul El-Sayed for U.S. Senate.”

Investigative journalist and adviser to President Donald Trump Laura Loomer posted the ad on X, saying, “Share this everywhere. If Abdul El-Sayed wins his Senate race, America is over and we will be worse than the UK in 3 years.”
El-Sayed is facing Republican former U.S. Rep. Mike Rogers in the general election.
