President Donald Trump held a Cabinet meeting on Thursday, and some officials weren’t given time to speak – because of a previous meeting that lasted for hours.
The issue was that he closed his eyes for brief periods during the meeting, and immediately was attacked by Democrats and other leftist personalities who accused him of falling asleep.
He didn’t, he explained.
But there was a reason: “It lasted for three hours. Some people said, ‘he closed his eyes.’ Look, it got pretty boring,” Trump said.
He explained, “It was a little bit on the boring side, but I didn’t sleep. I just closed them because I wanted to get the hell out of here.”
