Update: Kerry Alludes to Cease-Fire Crumbling, but Remains Optimistic

Update to OpsLens previous article on the cease-fire between the United States and Russia.

United States Secretary of State John Kerry expressed Monday that despite a rocky start to the cease-fire in Syria, he believed the agreement could weather the storm if Russia and Syria would hold more productive discussions with the U.S. regarding misfires, pun intended.  The U.S. accidentally struck more than sixty Syrian military soldiers over the weekend, driving a large wedge in the cease-fire process.  Still, despite admitting that the cease-fire had not achieved the desired goal, he remained optimistic, if for nothing else to provide an upbeat soundbite to the press.  His comments came amid statements from the Syrian military who claimed the cease fire was officially over.
