Video of an AH-64D Apache Helicopter crew from “Guns” Battalion
Gun camera video of an AH-64D Apache Helicopter crew from “Guns” Battalion, 227th Aviation Regiment, 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division engaging an enemy rocket launcher. This was a common problem during this part of the war. Insurgents would set up portable rocket launchers and send rockets into the bases or nearby areas and be able to flee before troops could arrive. But sometimes they got caught by the “eye in the sky” and that eye has very big guns and bombs.
