Cyberspace is an operational domain for the Coast Guard, and we operate within it just like we do at sea, in the air and on land.
So what is cyberspace? As the Coast Guard moves further along in the implementation of the Coast Guard’s Cyber Strategy through the CG Cyber Program, the ‘CG Cyber Program 101: Cyberspace is an Operational Domain’ video provides information on the three layers of Cyberspace: the physical layer, logical layer, and the cyber-persona layer.
Over the next few weeks we will release more episodes of the video series focusing on the Coast Guard’s role in Cyberspace, generating the Service’s first Cyberspace operating forces, and modernizing the Coast Guard’s information systems and networks.
