As socialists seeking elected office try to convince American voters they are not actually in favor of defunding the police, abolishing prisons or canceling Thanksgiving, former Fox News commentator Geraldo Rivera is now making excuses for their political pivoting.

Appearing on “NewsNation,” Rivera dismissed the previous woke, radical positions as crazy ideas that “kids” say.

“They are shedding their radical ‘defund the police’ and all that cr*p,” Rivera indicated. “They’re running away from those statements they may have made in the past.”

“I think [Zohran] Mamdani, the mayor of New York who got a million-plus votes, is an example of that. They’re not all of a sudden gonna become commies.”

Rivera concluded: “Their statements as kids were ridiculous. But that’s not what they really are as grown-ups.”

The Western Lensman on X noted of Geraldo’s analysis: “Just some wacky kids who are now grown up and didn’t really mean anything they said. This may be the most comical attempt to whitewash the woke we’ve heard yet. Just excellent work here, Geraldo.”

Meanwhile, Rivera is being blasted online for seemingly changing his opinion about Haiti, as temporary protected status for Haitians in America has ended and many are being sent back to the Caribbean island nation.

“Expelling Haitian immigrants is sending them straight to hell,” Rivera posted Sunday on X.

WABC Radio in New York reports: “Rivera said removals to Haiti amount to sending migrants into a country plagued by gang violence, instability and a collapsing security situation.”

But in 2018, Rivera begged President Donald Trump to apologize for calling Haiti a “s***hole” country, saying: “I ask you to apologize for your unfortunate remarks.”

WABC Radio took note of the difference, posting: “GERALDO THEN vs. GERALDO NOW. In 2018, Geraldo Rivera blasted Trump over his reported comments about Haiti. Now, while criticizing Haitian deportations, Geraldo himself says sending migrants back to Haiti would be sending them ‘straight to hell.’ So … which is it?”

Is the news we hear every day actually broadcasting messages from God? The answer is an absolute yes! Find out how!
