WH Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders Retort Puts Rep. Frederica Wilson out to Pasture

The ongoing fray between President Trump and Rep. Frederica Wilson (D — Florida) persists. After our commander-in-chief extended heartfelt condolences to Myeshia Johnson whose husband, Sgt. La David Johnson, was killed in an active-duty military incident in Niger, Africa, Congresswoman Frederica Wilson misrepresented sentiments conveyed by President Donald Trump and grossly emboldened her agenda for all to see and hear. Rep. Wilson called the president “insensitive,” apparently feeling he and his words are disingenuous.

She didn’t stop there as the fallout ensued.

Chief of Staff John Kelly, a retired US Marine Corps general whose son was killed in military action in Afghanistan, spoke at a White House press podium recently. Four-star General Kelly conveyed heartfelt support for President Trump while also delineating the process behind notifying loved ones of military members killed in action.

During his press briefing on Thursday, General Kelly “mischaracterized Wilson’s remarks and called her an ’empty barrel’ making noise. A Trump spokeswoman [Sarah Huckabee Sanders] said it was ‘inappropriate’ to question Kelly in light of his stature as a retired four-star general,” reported the Associated Press.

General Kelly was excoriated by Rep. Frederica Wilson for his on-air reference that she “talked about how she was instrumental in getting the funding for that [FBI] building,” hinting at a 2015 FBI building project for which she helped secure construction funding. Both sides harped the issue and both sides defend their respective stances, as reported by The Washington Post.

Rep. Wilson said “You mean to tell me that I have become so important that the White House is following me! This is amazing!”

As Rep. Frederica Wilson tore a few pages from the book of reality and, instead, opted to supplant sincerity with cruelty, she displayed how tickled she is by her own behavior. Rep. Wilson said “You mean to tell me that I have become so important that the White House is following me! This is amazing!” She giggled, held a flat hand to her heart, and smiled through those words. Then the steaming locomotive veered off the rails.

This week, she publicized the depth of her ostensible insecurity when she said the White House is “full of white supremacists,” per a Fox News report/video.

White House Retort

As reported by Fox News, “White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said Wednesday that Wilson’s attack on the president using the soldier’s widow was ‘appalling and disgusting’.”

Pushing back against Rep. Frederica Wilson and the mainstream media hounds in the White House press room, Sarah Sanders blasted across the bow when she referenced Congresswoman Wilson as “All hat and no cattle!” No mincing words there, and apparently unimpressed by rhinestones and any nostril-steaming bull.

In typical fashion, President Trump went right to the heart of the matter:

Military Stance

It turns out that, despite her seeming posture on behalf of a military widow, Rep. Wilson has an abysmal track record with regard to supporting legislation pertaining to the armed forces. Outlined in a VoteSmart.org page, a litany of non-support by Rep. Wilson is clearly chronicled. During her entire political U.S. House term (2011 — 2017), her voting record pertaining to veterans affairs bills tabulated “Nay” nine times and one “Did Not Vote” for a total of zero support.

Scouring her political site and her bio page citing all her accomplishments as a politician, I found no mention of anything related to military or veterans or armed forces. There is, however, ample reference to Barrack Obama supporting her and her political whims. Clearly, President Trump is not blind to the heated motivations:

Make America Great America enthusiasts and President Trump supporters populated Twitter with their respective opinions. One tweet colorized Rep. Wilson as “clown fame and nothing more”:

The torch of disingenuous was and still is making rounds. The water to dampen that flame is where it should be: in the voters’ hands. Cul-de-sacs and elections are similar; the most legitimate U-turn has an in/out design for a reason…you either stay or you mobilize elsewhere. Voters have the best mobility ratio in their hands and they are more formidable in numbers, like cattle, respectfully speaking.
