Gary Sinise has become synonymous with the US Armed Forces. Not only has he visited troops stationed and deployed around the world, he has made huge efforts back home. His pro-military activism has earned him several awards and recognition. He founded the Gary Sinise Foundation, which offers several different programs aimed at helping veterans of the armed forces.
Mr. Sinise also formed the LT Dan Band–a nod to his most famous role in the film Forrest Gump–and has toured the United States and overseas performing for members of the military. Through his efforts with the USO and his own dedication, Gary Sinise has selflessly worked towards bettering the lives of service members and veterans.
