Our List of Firearms That You Should Consider For Concealed Carry

In this day and age, you can never be too certain of when you will be involved in a situation that requires you to defend yourself or your loved ones. So we thought it would be helpful to recommend our favorite everyday concealed carry firearms. Bear in mind, however, that this list is a general starting point — there are several additional factors that you have to consider prior to purchase, including your size (not the firearm, your physical size), your experience with firearms, your lifestyle and clothing choices.

GLOCK 43, 9mm:  Made by one of the most popular and successful firearms brands, Glock created the Glock 43 after growing demand for a lighter, single stack magazine weapon.  While Glock also offers the Glock 42, which fires .380 caliber rounds, the 43 offers the extra punch provided by 9mm and only weighs a little more.

Walther PPS M2, 9mm: James Bond doesn’t have to be the only person to carry Walther products.  The PPS M2 is Walther’s latest compact model firearm and can serve as a reliable self defense weapon for many.

Glock 19, 9mm:  Glock’s popularity with concealed carry patrons is not limited to their single stack 42 and 43 models. The Glock 19 is their compact 9mm model, featuring a larger frame and a heavier weight. That weight may be worth it to you, however, as the G19 affords more than double the capacity of the G43, with standard magazines carrying 15 rounds.

Ruger LCP, .380:  For those looking for a smaller variety of concealed carry firearms, Ruger offers the LCP .380 caliber sub-compact pistol. While the ammunition does not offer the pop of its larger caliber brethren, its combination of concealability and function make it a reliable firearm.

Ruger LC9, 9mm: Want to stick with Ruger, but need more firepower?  The LC9, which fires 9mm, could be your best choice.  While the weight will be more than that of the LCP, the upgrade in ammunition may be worth it.

Sig Sauer P320c, 9mm: Sig is a household name in the firearm industry– because of its reliability, it is frequently used by both military and law enforcement.  Their compact offering in the 320 series, the Sig p320c, is a solid 9mm firearm with a 15 round capacity. Comparable in size and capacity to the Glock 19.
